In 2015 our current Executive Director, Carrie Gurley, had a vision. This vision was to reach out not only to the women caught in the midst of sexual exploitation but also to offer freedom and restoration to men, families and children affected by trafficking and sexual addiction. The mission was clear, all the connections impacted by this problem demanded a holistic approach and treatment. We feel that through partnering with local churches, schools, and other organizations, we will be able to combat the effects of sexual addiction and exploitation.
With this new vision came a name: “Valiant Hearts”. This name better represents what our new vision and mission will encompass going forward. The decision was made to start the process of renaming We Are Cherished, to Valiant Hearts. We will soon be launching our new website and image. We want to invite all of you to join us in our new journey. Together by the power of the Holy Spirit we will break the chains of addiction and provide safety, hope and restoration to the sexual targets in our communities.
